    Ted Cruz, A notorious pervert (College room mate)

    While we wait to see if the Iowa caucus turnout favors Cruz (120,000) or Trump (160,000) it is mindblowing to step back and fully internalize just what a profound creep Cruz is.

    The oily Uriah Heap act is evidently a truly transparent look into his grimy soul.

    Consider that he is so despised that otherwise sane Republican sachems (eg, Bob Dole, Richard Burr) publicly state acceptance of Donald Trump as the party nominee before Cruz, and Trent Lott dismisses him "He is not a gentleman. Gentleman respect each other ".

    But the weirdest contribution to this gonzo inventory is the story from his Princeton room mate detailing Cruz's practice of donning his thin cloth bathrobe (and NOTHING ELSE) and then making himself conspicuous at the curtilege of the women's area of the dorm.

    It's not quite a raincoat by the playground, but it's right there on the spectrum.

    We are  spared (thus far) any details involving self-pleasuring, although the girls, by report, declared themselves to be thoroughly creeped out..

    It's kind of odd that no women from that time are coming forth with icky stories about him. I certainly would, even if to just show how much I had come up in the world since then.

    Usually people don't want to put themselves out there and face all the attacks that will come. If he comes close to winning or if he wins the nomination people with stories will come out and face the public scrutiny and attacks that come from going public.

    Well, Jolly - you're playing quite the double-side of the coin - Larry Flynt is king of misogyny - what was the Steinem piece on his unlikely position as defender of free speech through torture/gangrape/concentration-camp porn or her decrying his photoshopping a dick in the mouth of a female politician. While you get a jovial reception here, I'd imagine with your constant referral to pussy that in a dorm-room setting you'd be largely remembered as creepier than Ted Cruz. Whatevers. It's election year.

    My references to the pitiable Mr. Flynt were limited to his prior manifested eagerness to purchase the cooperation of otherwise silent sufferers with first hand knowledge relating to the hypocrites in question.

    Well, aside from Larrys work finding hypocrites during Clinton's impeachment, I wouldn't want to encourage career as bottom drawer panty sniffer, thanks.

    That was a non-roommate's summation, with an uncomfirmed "nothing else on underneath". That's how stories grow on the internet, piece by piece, ad-lib by ad-lib.

    Anyway, I think it's ridiculous to traipse through a 17-year-old's freshman year behavior. Cruz has monumental issues now that are actually relevant to the situation (the primaries, remember? not chatting up chicks in the dorms)

    Why not take it on as an assignment--the verification or otherwise of the proposition that the description  of Cruz's attire, limited as it was to "a bathrobe", with the additional identifer "paisley (ie, not terrycloth)  in the absence of the word "pajamas" and in the context of an ensemble that disturbed the targets, in fact comprised the description of a man (emulating Kramer as it were) "flying free"..

     

    You may report back with your results at your leisure.

    Shit is coming out...

     

    A few months ago, someone sent Jezebel a tip about the rising Republican presidential candidate’s days as a Princeton undergraduate. It was a story that seemed both unlikely and physiologically improbable, but I figured I might as well ask around, just in case....

    Armed with this context, when Jezebel received this anonymous tip detailing an absurd sexual rumor that was allegedly going around about Cruz his freshman year in college, we immediately began to look into it. This involved describing a frankly disgusting alleged scenario over the phone to one fortysomething Ivy Leaguer after another, as tactfully as possible, while making sure to characterize it as only a rumor, and likely untrue.

    “Ew!” multiple people yelped in response. “Oh, God, no,” another murmured. “I’ve certainly never heard anything like that,” one alumnus said.

    Wow, your freshmen buds didn't like you. That's real pertinent to what? I'd guess more than half of college students are sexually awkward. I don't even understand what that has to do with running for president. The more people print this bullshit, the more I'm likely to taking a liking to Ted - it's the counter-histrionifs effect.
