    THE GOVERNMENT SHUTS DOWN!

    Today's events reminded me of an old blog I once wrote.

    WHAT IS A MOTHER TO DO?

    Well I am taking a tip from Gandhi.

    THIS IS WHAT i AM GOING TO DO.

    I am not going to purchase anything until this matter is resolved.

       I mean I will still purchase groceries and refreshments and such.

       I mean I must survive.

    I refuse to work anymore.

       Of course I am retired so to speak. I mean I will blog and complain and such.

    I will no longer respond to emails.

       Although I rarely respond directly to emails anyway since most correspondence seeks money, of which I      

       have none.

    I will no longer seek assistance from my representatives.

    I refuse to bathe.

    I am giving up weekly bingo.

    As long as I get my SS on Groundhog's Day, I will pay rent.

    But I will give no tips.

    I will no longer praise my President.

    I will no longer wash my clothes (at least until next week since my washload is low?)

    I will.....

    WHAT?

    I just feel like it is all political crapola.

    Anyway, I tried to find my old blog with Simon & Garfunkle and this time the search engine did not work....so I just googled it.

    I get so down sometimes.

    Anyway....

    These pricks are going to keep the gov going.

    No matter what.
