... Trump “Here we go again with you know you’re guilty until proven innocent,” he tells AP, “I don’t like that. We just went through that with Justice Kavanaugh and he was innocent all the way as far as I’m concerned. So we have to find out what happened.”
Trump does not want to find out what happened with Khashoggi. The $$. Trump, 2015: "Saudi Arabia, I get along with all of them. They buy apartments from me. They spend $40 million, $50 million,” Trump told a crowd at an Alabama campaign rally in 2015. “Am I supposed to dislike them? I like them very much.” The buck doesn't stop at Trump's desk, it goes into his pocket.

Let me get this straight. Turkey has a more honest, legitimate investigative process than the U.S. now.
Well, that didn't take long. 22 months into this farce of an Administration, and we're already in banana-republic human rights standards.

Wall Street had enough morality to back away from the Saudis.

Brett K must be gagging over having the President of the United States use his name and history alongside and to create an excuse for a gang of murderous barbaric assassins.
And "the kneeling NFL players" were a "disgrace" to country and flag according to the Orange tRump and his tribe of grifters, traitors, morons and racists.

Oh he's probably agreeing, at least quietly to himself. The Saudis are as innocent as Kavanaugh is.

"Oh the Saudi's could torture and chop up a journalist in one of their embassies, with my approval, and I wouldn't lose a single voter."
Likely true with the "Christian", "Values Voter" GOP base.

Pompeo: Khashoggi alive or dead,? Who cares? No facts discussed with Saudi's:
As he was leaving Riyadh, the Saudi capital, on Wednesday, Mr. Pompeo was asked if Saudi officials had told him whether the Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi was alive or dead.
“I don’t want to talk about any of the facts,” Mr. Pompeo said dismissively. “They didn’t want to either.”
That set off an immediate maelstrom of criticism against the Trump administration’s chief diplomat.
“The pictures of Pompeo grinning, smiling and laughing with the crown prince — as if a journalist wasn’t just murdered — are remarkable,” Shadi Hamid, a scholar of Middle East policy at the Brookings Institution... “The fact that the representative of the United States didn’t want to talk about the facts is a travesty.” ..

Interesting that the editors at The Hill are clearly playing up Trump's troubles on this. I would suspect they are doing that because they are influenced by the buzz around them on "The Hill"? I.E., Congress not happy. Their home page is like Kashoggi story central. Headline story right now:
