Clinton is not helping herself by picking on Sanders push for universal health care and his record on Guns. Lisb made a wonderful statement on FB about why she voted for Obama and why she will vote for Sanders. We wanted universal healthcare minus all the profit taking. Like her I don't regret my vote for Obama and still want to push for universal healthcare like Medicare for all. For most of us, the profit taking that happens because someone is sick is morally wrong. Can we get what we want? Sure. We just have to demand it. We will by filling up his campaign rallies and voting for him. That also includes fire arms regulations.
I predict that Hillary will look just as old as Bernie and twice as cranky. There will be a big portion of the million plus Sanders supporters that will open their checkbooks and send him more love the week end. A few more bricks will fall out of her Super Tuesday's fire wall. Plus, the MIC and insurance industry will send a few more big checks to Clinton's super pacs. Iowa's small motels and restaurants will do a bang up business from Sander's volunteers who are on a winter political holiday from across the country. Face book and Reddit will be on fire with the "Bern." Killer Mike will be on tour in all the South Carolina Barber shops while Nina Turner will be attending ladies' luncheons talking about the "three bones." Everyone in Iowa and New Hampshire will be muting their TV's during commercials and phones will be turned off. The media will follow the Big Dog around in hopes of catching him sticking his foot in his mouth like in 2008.
The real news is Ed Shultz is returning to TV on the RT cable network in prime time the last week in January.

The real news is that 2 of the most irrelevant tiny and whitest and rural of states are driving our political choice yet again, along with conservative loudmouths who get most of the media time just by saying the stupidest things loudly. Against this backdrop I'm supposed to believe that tied to the 40% or more who think these morons are actually the best choice to vote for that somehow we're going to get a progressive grassroots revolution that will set things right again. Americans, even "libruls", are completely freaked out by terrorists. We jump at our own shadow. We want to close the Mexican border even though immigration tapered off after 9/11 and 2008, so we're attacking a problem that basically calmed down 10 years ago. We're rehashing health care from 8 years ago event though we don't even have the Senate to pass anything. We're reliving Columbine every week and suggesting the big issue is that we sell too many guns to insane people (who are defined as those who shoot people). I feel like I'm in a time warp - where's Michael Moore? What's happening in Flint? Dude, where's my country?

Uh, Dude I can deal with. It's the idea of Iowa influencing anything - like that's maybe 47th or 49th on states I'd like to visit. And then they "caucus" which having been through one is a strange kind of event closer to shy teenagers at cotillion combined with high school student government than just giving your political preference and going home, or better, voting by mail. I mean, I dont really want dickhead knowing I'm voting for the pederast anarchist with the hair-lip and substance abuse/meth lab issues rather than one of the accepted front-running candidates. Why is a gossipy peer pressure environment a good idea in 2016? We'd shit ourselves if Iran pulled this crap.
And I'm sure I have something nasty to say about New Hampshire, but every time I start I think about Christmas cards and Robert Frost and my better or tamer natures take over. New what? I didn't even know there was an old one. Do they make beer there at least?

Odd that this would come up now, but prefer he were still a national influence.
