The segregation order was nonsense. There is an allegation that a white female lieutenant allowed Chauvin to use her cellphone, a violation.
Perhaps only black staff should be guarding Chauvin.
If anything goes south, black staffers know that the full weight of the justice system will come down on them immediately, the female lieutenant had no such fear.

The allegation is that she entered his cell and sat on his bunk while allowing him to use her phone. Not particularly better.
