Even with his path to the Democratic presidential nomination rapidly disappearing, Bernie Sanders couldn't bring himself to publicly accept defeat. Along the way, he overplayed his hand and squandered the political capital he'll need to force policy and procedural reforms on the Democratic Party, according to allies and party strategists.“We're already way past the maximum point of leverage that he and his movement built up. It's definitely dissipating every day,”....

Every day Sanders loses more and more of his power and influence. He could have gone back to the senate with the power and influence of Elizabeth Warren. The liberals who voted for Hillary and those who voted for him would have supported him. By refusing to support the winner of the primary he's losing the support of Hillary's voters.Sanders is dead to me now, just as Nader is dead to me. But it's not just Hillary supporters that are angry. Not all Sanders supporters are fanatics. Many will easily switch to Hillary. If Sanders continues to play the sore loser and hurts Hillary's fight with Trump he will begin to lose support from his own voters.

I started this campaign knowing I would vote for Hillary, but I thought Bernie had good ideas, and liked that he would pull her further left.
Now I can't stand him.
Where Hillary was a gracious loser when Obama beat her, Bernie is acting like a spoiled child. He came into the race happy to get people thinking about the America he envisions, with no thought he could actually win. But with the adoring crowds, and millions of people yelling his name in, yes, almost worship, he let his ego get the better of him. Now he is having a hard time giving it up, and in hanging on is making himself look ridiculous.
Get a grip, Bernie. The loser doesn't get to set the agenda, the winner does. You can advise, you CANNOT dictate.
