The guy in the BLM shirt was white. He took the microphone from a black woman, Sharon McBride, a city council member who speaking about her support of Buttigieg.
The protestor was apparently restrained by the brother of the black man killed by South Bend police in June. Another protester wore a Bernie Sanders hat.
Obviously, there is more to this story. At first blush, one wonders if the protest was geared to create discord between the Buttigieg and Sanders camps. It will be interesting to learn the identity and true purpose of BLM shirt guy.
Also would be interesting to hear from the man said to be the brother of the man slain by South Bend police. Was he there in support of Buttigieg?
I need to be best, I couldn't take the protest seriously. If you note, a black woman in the audience had a cane and appeared ready to wear out BLM shirt guy's behind. The black guy saved him.
