Hillary responded to protests from Sanders supporters at one of her rallies. She corrected the record on receiving support from fossil fuel companies.
Comments
The oil and gas and financial services industries are very comfortable with Hillary Clinton. That's why their lobbyists and bundlers contribute heavily to her campaign, SuperPacs that support her, and the Clinton Foundation. While she was Secretary of State she and her husband successfully evangelized for fracking which aggravates global warming and is a factor in Middle East desertification. US Chamber of Commerce President Tom Donohue said this past January at Davos that he believes she will support the TPP regardless of whether credulous Democratic voters take her at her word during the primaries. I care about people not the multinational corporations that are robbing the poor, workers, and the middle-class, and destroying our planet, that's why I support Bernie Sanders for President.

97.7% of fossil fuel donations go to the GOP. Hillary has received no corporate funds from fossil fuel corporations, the would be illegal. Hillary has received funds that work for the fossil fuel industries. The donations amount to over $300K, representing 0.2% of the money Hillary raised. Sanders has received donations from people working in the fossil fuel industry amounting to $54K, or 0.04% of Sanders funding. If you include money received by Hillary's campaign from any lobbyist with ties to the fossil fuel industry, Hillary would have received 0.8% of her donations from the fossil fuel industry if we stretch things to the limit

If the fossil fuel industry is buying off Clinton, she works cheap.

But when your mind is closed, nothing; no facts; no history matters...I saw a reference the other day to "sandbaggers." I get it. Their minds are closed. Like a steel trap, and welcoming the abyss, because they are better than all the rest of us.

Bernie has not been vetted, just like Trump is only now being questioned in a serious fashion. There are angry voters with legitimate complaints. Trump cannot explain how he can build his wall. Sanders cannot explain how he will pay for single-payer and free college.

Natural gas cuts CO2 by 50% per megawatt of electricity compared to coal. Fracked gas has prevented 160 coal fired generating plants from being built. It has reduced US carbon emissions and can be done safely if properly regulated. It has been called a bridge to a carbon neutral energy economy. About half our natural gas supply is produced this way.

Hal is upset we're not living in huts and fighting more Mideast and Russian wars over oil and gas that we can't afford. My concern over Mideast desertification is right up there with what Kim Kardashian is wearing or not wearing today. Always some reason to be afraid of progress for progressives.

It's a mystery to me why Bernie won't release his tax records, when Hillary did so long ago: https://www.hillaryclinton.com/tax-returns/. It does make a person wonder what he's hiding: http://www.nationalmemo.com/why-hasnt-bernie-sanders-released-his-tax-returns/.

I agree. Sanders should release his entire returns for last ten years.
