On a far more serious note, but kinda in the same general vein, The Atlantic's Conor Friedersdorf has a really interesting piece on how Trump is actually very politically correct. Worth a read.

yup it does clarify, But I will wrap it all up by saying he also thinks he's the bestest alpha male who ever walked the earth. Who will be able to effect the correct reality if all of the betas believe and accept this munificent benefit of him offering to be their leader (i.e.,be awed by the size of my inauguration crowd, applaud my past successes in television, beauty pageants, casinos, real estate, moving up the ladder with arm candy babes, raising obedient mini-me's...and most of all: don't question my facts and don't read newspapers.) If we would all just get behind him he could be like Jean-Luc Picard and say "make it so!" and this correct reality, it would happen!

p.s. my own imaginary narrative/scenario that I just described above reminds me of three of my least favorite things: 1) the crap football coaches say and do; 2) pep rallies in high school with mandatory attendance 3) rabid fans of political candidates

Good link Missy.
I recall as a child hearing:
I regret that I have but one life to give for my country?
And recall when Maher lost his show (5 months after the fact) for noting that the suicide 'bombers' were not cowards.
And recall that when I was a child, the colonists were guerilla fighters and that is how we beat those rotten Brits?
Oh and Missy, don't get mad but I keep attempting to tell folks that links on this 'news' blog do not adequately give us a link. So I always double link.
THAT IS ALL.
hahahah

Yeah, the link in the comment thread never actually "works", so it's not a bad idea to add another. But if you click on the item in the "In The News" column, it works! Ha!
