And a reminder from arta: lots of people voted for an alternative to Trump, an opposite, and that would not be someone who is purposely divisive. Whether it works or not, that's what they wanted.

Arty... I luv it . . .
That is... When Arty posts not one, not two, but three consecutive replies to Arty's own original post..

1) Um I do most of the news posting here, yes. I am not ashamed of that. The owner of this website wrote me more than a year ago, thanked me for keeping the moribund news section full of interesting info, and offered to put me on the masthead. I declined the latter offer but presume he still likes what I do. He hasn't complained.
2) Yes again. We are all in the habit of doing that for "In the News" section as it has a tiny space on the main page, rather than starting a new post for related items, and making it scroll too fast, one puts related news as comments unless there is a major change in the story.
You are more than welcome to help with this communal project by posting related news on my threads yourself. Or starting a new news item thread.
I don't have to be the only one, really. Maybe I won't if you keep harassing me about it and posting childish gifs trolling people instead of content.

Oh wait Arty...
I don't wish nor expect you to be "ashamed."
And you seem to have such thin skin that
you would accuse me of "harassing" you.

Back to analyzing the election itself. Noting shifting around in white working class vote:
I think: no surprise, Biden has long been known as one of the few Dems appealing to the Reagan Dem types.
