Myself, must admit I often think of Gerald Ford pardoning Nixon and telling the country that it's time to move on.
BUT THEN they won't denounce Trump, and that's all they'd really have to do and then they could play down Jan. 6 as history, bad history but gone. So beholden to the crazies, instead of leading, they are sheeple following the whims of crazies. It's simply not going to work out for them as the rule of law is not on that side, the FBI is hunting all the participants down, it's simple reality!
