These three researchers reach the conclusion that racism and sexism explain most of Trump’s weirdly large electoral advantage with non-college-educated white Americans. Too bad that so many people on the left refuse to acknowledge the role this issue play. And since they are demanding we quit PLAYING IDENTITY POLITICS BECAUSE EMAILS and WHITE PEOPLE SUFFER MORE AND THEY AREN'T RACIST OR SEXIST!
Whatever.

Thanks, the study confirms my impress that racism and sexism played a role in the election results. Sadly, I don't think this is the end of the use of race to divide voters. Realizing that the problem exists may lead to ways to counteract it in the future. I admit that I have no idea how this can be accomplished.

Hostility toward women is one of the strongest predictors of Trump support
And why women go along - "benevolent sexism"
And fears about immigration aren't about jobs, unsurprisingly.
So just what exactly are we supposed to be telling the heartland?
