ISIS has a Research and Fatwa Division that developed rules for slavery. The ISIS scholars determined that slavery, slave- trading, beating slaves, and raping slaves re all allowed according to their interpretation of the Koran. They are currently practicing their religion on the women of the Yazidi religious minority in northern Iraq.

The Church Lady would say: well, isn't that precious making the Koran into something like a breeding book for animals.
My question: I know it is a teeny number as far as percentages go, but really, still, how can it be that so many young men from around the world are falling for this fantasy tribal he-man tribal crap? It's really too too for a Hollywood movie or video game targeted at this demographic, they'd be laughed at.

The interpretation does seem suited to those men unable to actually talk to a woman

Report of an experiment at re-programming the wayward deliquents coming under the spell of such "fatwas":
I am kind of reminded of A Clockwork Orange.

ISIS apparently will do any fatwa necessary to pander to different target markets. I.E., "what's your idea of heaven, we got it!":
Like I suggested earlier, I can't fathom who might find disgusting gruesome rules about enslaving Yadzi women way cool, but there must some out there.

I'm not sure why you find it so hard to understand. Some men like to rape. For most, I hope, sex is a fun game that's only fun if both people are having fun. I don't get why some men like to have sex with an unconscious women. I don't even get why some men go to prostitutes. I found it to be an empty unfulfilling experience. I'd rather masturbate if I'm alone and desperate than go to a prostitute. I don't get why some find it fun to have sex with a screaming crying fighting women but some men do. It seems to me that having a slave around all the time to beat and rape without the danger of getting caught by the cops would appeal to that type of man.

Ok, but you forgot "and some men are just plain psychopaths":

The article just below the one you link to details ISIS's threat to execute captured Lebanese soldiers. If ISIS kills those it captures it means that any ISIS opponent has no choice but to fight to the death and to wipe out any ISIS fighter they encounter.

Interesting story, as much because of the reactions to it as to the tale itself. It may be true although Western Media are known for their hyperbole in support of propaganda and manufactured consent.
If this story is true we have the justification we need to bomb the culprits and probably many of the slaves to show our civilization would never allow underage sex-slaves except possibly in New York, Chicago or maybe LA. Anyway we are better than them so we get some slack when the Humanitarian Hellfire flies. BTW, Obama lifted the restrictions on civilian targeting just for this special little war.
There is also the possibility that this story is part of the Islamic State's PsyOps program designed to titillate the Amerikan Liberal angst and draw US troops into what could be a true Armageddon.

What we have is a death cult that uses religion as a shield. They are no different than the Taliban who murdered school children. Your best defense seems to be that death cults are lying about abuses to draw others into Armageddon, the big death. You seem to agree that death cults love death.

This article over at NPR is interesting along related lines.Seems like in some sectors of the Arab world, they've turned themselves into the bogeyman under the bed by doing what they've done. The one you try to scare children with when they misbehave. It's going to take an awful lot of good P.R. to fix that, when it gets so bad that no one believes your denials.
Who's the authority on what they believe anyways? Huh?
It's all just strings and mirrors. Past rumor has it the military skill comes from Saddam Ba'ath party discontents temporarily taking up with them. Those guys are not the type to be loyal to the cause. What else have they got? Sow-chaos theory straight from Bin Laden's fevered theorizing in the 80's. Nothing new here, no real answers about a future Islamic state. Probably a Zarqawi charismatic type will turn up sooner or later, causing split camps. We've been there, done that. Makes me think fighting jihadism truly does have to be a whack-a-mole process.

Thanks for the link. If ISIS focuses on destruction and does nothing constructive like feeding, clothing, housing, and employment, they will on attract a minority of people.

National Propaganda Radio may not be the best source for unbiased information about the world we live in. If what you believe about the weaknesses of the IS are true the USG should soon be able to get back to harassing Russia and pivoting to China, the real threats to our hegemony.
The Baathists may be useful to the IS but their military in Syria is led by a Chechen, Abu Omar who has led many victories and may be leading all of their fighters. The type of urban warfare they are fighting has nothing to do with what the old Baathist Iraqi Army practiced.
It make take some time before many people get past their denial of the reality of the Islamic State but that's their problem, the idea of the Caliphate has taken root.

If you want to see Death Cults look no further than your own backyard. From Ferguson to any major US city and around the world we bring death and destruction to millions with no end in sight.
The fighters of the IS may not fear death but their goal is to make their enemies do the dying. The Armageddon the IS envisions is just a small valley where the US and our minions will gather for their deserved destruction.

People are publicly objecting to the homicide in Ferguson. There are efforts to have another court review the details of the Ferguson a Grand Jury. There is a Federal review of the homicide and the entire Ferguson police department. We can try to overturn a show trial.
If I object to the actions of the actions of ISIS, my reward would be a bullet or a beheading.
