A side issue, many of the tweets you post I can't see. They appear for a few seconds then disappear. Sometimes I'll reload the page and try to quickly click on the tweet before it disappears. I don't know if it's a problem with the site or my computer settings. Is anyone else having that problem? Anyone know what I can do to fix it? I tried shutting off my ad blocker on dagblog but that had no effect.

It's embedded & redirected content - so it's how Twitter plays it, not Dagblog - i haven't had any problem on laptop (with Twitter login) or mobile (no Twitter login), but I'd guess if you don't have a saved Twitter login it might run into problems displaying properly - can you click through?

At first I thought the tweet just wasn't there but I realized it would appear for a few seconds then disappear. If I'm quick I can catch it before the tweet disappears and click on the link to get to the twitter page.

now that never happens to me, not with tweets posted by others like PP, either. So it must be something in your setup, perhaps your browser settings reading the embed like a pop-up ad or another kind of ad which it is set to block.Reminds me how I tried Firefox again the other day after like a year of using Chrome instead, and I was shocked how different everything looked, furthermore I couldn't get hardly anything at Dagblog to load, it loaded looking like a 1990's website, no layout, no frames, no fancy text, few pictures. Even refreshing, and I know it's the latest version. Lately things are a real mess this way, I think, because everything is being redesigned to work on a cell phone....

I use firefox and it seems to work fine except for some of the tweets, but that's an idea. I'll see what happens with chrome.

It must be something with firefox. Tweets are showing up fine with chrome.
Thanks for the help

Maybe because you're not logged onto Twitter? In any case, like PP says, you should be able to click through and see it, use the link at the timestamp; I send links to lots of people in emails.
One thing that happens to me is that once I've posted it and been on the dagblog thread, when I return, the whole tweet no longer loads pn dagblog, just simple text and links in a quote box. I suspect that's browser related and slow internet speed where everything doesn't load. But what do I know.
If you don't see the linked timestamp of the tweet that you could click through with for the whole thing as it looks on Twtter, I don't know what to tell you, though

The fuckers have been tracking me. They know how many times I've criticized twitter. They want to force me to get and account and log in just to put me in my place. Bastards!

Maybe caching - I run into probs with edited embedded tweets I refresh.

Maybe firefox just isn't keeping up to date. I've resisted switching to chrome but perhaps it's time.

ah but Chrome crashes and stalls all the time, is why I was checking out Firefox, hah.
I know, truth is it is partly my fault, it would help if I got rid of 10,000 cookies because I actually like having a long history saved on a browser, and years of downloads because I am not sure which ones I need to save elsewhere and which not. But I never liked the part of this whole computer thing where you had to spend a lot of time cleaning up the tools to get efficiency. Never made sense to me. So I bitch. And bounce around trying other options.

In the old days the Bible was enough. Guess I'm old.
