Well, to be fair for Trump they're forced to clean up within minutes, sometimes before the press conf is over. So Pompeo isn't amazingly incompetent in context of this administration, but any other point in history he would be.

yes but the cabinet used to be the cleanup people (i.e., the ones that leaked to Bob Woodward about "crazytown") and now what is left is incompetent cleanup people. Jeff Sessions out there arguing in public with Drumpf about the smart way to accomplish Drumpf goals and the dumb way is just another example of wha'happened to MAGA?
