At her essence, Gillibrand would seem to be not an ideologue, but an operator. In order to win she has evolved her positions, changed her mind … flip-flopped, in less polite terms. I was thinking of posting this. I like the cynical and smart coming from an author who looks quite young to be a "senior political writer."But then Nate Silver's organization would attract some of the best minds as regards that. Bored that I am already hearing "Gillebrand", she seems to raise too many hackles allover the place. But then I also think "flip-flopping" isn't always the evil it's cracked up to be unless you're a tried-and-true conservative and against learning over time.
