    CONTRIBUTE TO DAGBLOG FOR CHRISSAKES!

    Mike has asked us to contribute to his blog site.

    I don't have any money; but $1200 a month with rent at 364 leaves me with more money than I have seen (started in 2012) for a long time.

    But hell, Slate wants some more money so I can delve into their secret stash and NYT hits me for $34 every month (actually 28 days so they can rip me off more) and those sons of bitches want more for their special coverage ….

    So I send him a piddly $25 because, for some reason my charts cannot tell me, I have an extra fifty bucks every month that goes into savings.

    And this is a one time 'charge'.

    This is the only place I got.

    I have some readers.

    Over six years I never made a dime (except for two computers) and Marshall just destroyed me and yet I have some readers here.

    Now those on the dole (like I used to be) do not send anything.

    But we have Cleveland and Mike M and Ramona and Mike W, of course.

    On the other side of things like me, we have Eric Waltree and several other great writers (I am not a great writer, hahahah)

    Hit Mike W's post and send him ten bucks or twenty bucks or whatever.

    I have been assured that this Pakistani is not now nor ever has been a member of Al Qaida or the Taliban! Hahaha

    I wish for an advertisement here.

    I mean Mike W's problem is that more and more peeps are writing here and commenting here and he needs more room.

    MIKE, GO AHEAD AND GET A FEW ADS. PUT THEM ON THE RIGHT SIDE. I MEAN YOU ADVERTISE OTHER BLOGS, A FEW GILLETE COMMERCIALS OR GREEN TEA COMMERCIALS AINT GONNA HURT ANYONE

    HAHAHAHAHAH

    But I suppose ten bucks aint that bad even considering your financial mess.

    But damn, we depend on you here at Dagblog and your site is stupendous!

    I am always fascinated by your recipes but your quilts defy physics. hahahah

    I have kind of neglected my site these last couple of weeks.  We have been passing around a summer cold here.  Of coarse I am the last one to get it.  Murphy's Law or something about Mom's being the last. Well I am going to have to make some quilt blocks for Sunday's Kos installment. That quilt group is donating 64 quilts to the VA Hospital in Detroit for the NN14 being held in Detroit this year. I can't donate so my job is to keep these lovely ladies entertained twice a month and increase their skills. They have also made knitted scarves and caps for them, last count was over 100.  I just sort of fell into that group.

    You are the one who talked me into the food blog. LOL.  It is your fault...LOL The kids thank you because they are getting extra treats. I bought a sausage stuffer attachment to my mixer grinder to make sausage links. ($12) The hog casings came today. Not very glamorous but I have been saving a dollar a pound on sausage making it my self. I am graduating to breakfast links.  

    Life is good Richard,  my bills get paid each month. The kids are getting educated. The oldest ones haven't borrowed a dime for their college education. We are healthy and most of the time happy. I can spare a dime or two.

    PS I refuse to accept any money earmarked for sausages or college degrees. I'm sure you can spend it better on you kids, and you've done more than your share of debugging on the new site.

    Get yourself over to the new site.  I am pestering Mike on how to post photographs that we take ourselves.  I am not alone on this small problem of being clueless with pictures. I need back up on this. Please?

    And I thought I would need to clean out my savings; but I took out the battery and five days later, my pc works!
