Please understand I love the Café for so many reasons, and appreciate that Josh keeps it up, even though he says it's not a money-maker. I don't love the software problems.

Lately, there has been a posting lag time of from 5 minutes to 'Who the Hell Knows?'

I also get timed out of the Café often; it's not even predictable as far as how many minutes elapse; sometimes ten, sometimes an hour or more.  Each time I want to access Movable Type, I have to sign in again.  And often, after previewing a new blog, the 'Extended' portion has disappeared when the software goes back to access the 'Saved' blog.

It's frustrating, and even though you may be trying to fix it, it may be that the fixes haven't worked for certain platforms, whatever they are.

I/we would appreciate some help.  It is great that you've dealt with the Spam problems.

Update: it's now 7:53, and my blog is up.  Still, over two and a half hours to post.

Also: I forgot one biggie.  Over the past two weeks, my computer virus programs have allowed some malicious adware spam in.  It starts to run a virus check, then works to convince me that I should buy the protecton it offers.  Usually I can run Spyweeper to get it isolated, but one day recently it went so far as to prevent any cleanup, then my computer crashed; all I could get were black screens the rest of the day and night. 

By morning, when I turned it on, I coud at least get a DOS screen, and it helped me find a Restore point, then quarrantine the bugs.

Thing is: Spysweeper said it was all in Memeory, and the only site I was on was TPM.

Anyone having virus problems when logged on here?
