This Rick Scott Ad is going to back fire.

Just when you think you have seen all the stupid that the GOP can come up, they find a new one. I just saw this one on my TV this morning.  I thought my grand daughter in law was going to throw her shoe at the TV.  This ad hit a nerve and she found it insulting and sexist.  Me I was laughing at the latest, clueless, stupid, out of touch shit from the GOP.

There are Republican women who are trying to make up their minds because they don't like Rick Scott and are not sure they should vote for Charley Crist this time.  They voted for him the first time he was Governor but now he has gone to the other side were there is liberal cookies. I think a few of them just might find this ad a little over the top and demeaning to women of all ages.

I just found out, this ad is running in Michigan for Snyder too. Hmmm...that just leaves me speechless.

Momoe you already know I have a daughter and two granddaughters.

    Everybody is white.

But damn, Texas has just about wiped out all Planned Parenthood centers.

A seventeen year old girl has nowhere to go.

    Other states follow this lead.

Again, I am against abortion but I aint gonna tell a doctor what is best for her patient, for chrissakes. How the hell would I know what is good for the woman?

Ben  Affleck was on Maher Overtime last nite.

There are many voices including men who wish to see equal rights for women.

I bring up Ben because he just spent months in Detroit filming a movie and he really is working for women's rights in this country and around the world.

    Rick Scott sucks.

I hope Crist survives for another day.

I think that Crist is the real thing down there in Florida.

    LET US PRAY!

They are running this ad in 5 other governor races and just changing the names.  The group for this buy is College Republican National Committee.  It is a big buy in this state that is an expensive media market.

My grand daughter in law chose not to have a wedding and told her grandmother that she would like to use the money that was saved for her wedding by her grandparents for her college education.  They didn't like the idea but a year later offered her tuition money after she was married.  This generation that is young has a very different reality then what is in this ad.  They face the burden of high tuition costs and school loans afterwards. Southern young women are no longer just big hair or being cheerleaders and dreamy eyed weddings.

I am at a loss as to who they are trying to reach out to.  Are they telling the kids not to listen to their hippy grandmothers and moms about loosing their reproductive rights if they vote for Republicans?  Is this desperate move by the GOP because women are moving away from them?  The Grace Kelly look in wedding dresses is in fashion now as well as the strapless number.  This ad is so out of touch that it leaves me speechless.

The other day people at the food bank was talking about how Scott looks like he is high on something.  They were speculating that  he has a doctor that is treating him either for mental issues or he is just addicted.  He does look that way on camera.  It is small stuff like that which will sometimes influence a voter.  There will be plenty of suspense in Nov. on election night with Florida.  Early returns comes out of North Florida and the southern east coast will be late into the night. It will look like Scott is winning until the big number dumps from the big cities in the southern half. Crist has focused on GOTV in the south end of the state. He has a big event planned for Souls to the Polls Day.

What can I say Texas is a mess.  It is going to take another decade to get enough Democrats to vote in that state.  I do think global warming is going to be a wake up call for that state.

Are you sure this is not an SNL skit making fun of the GOP? I mean, this is just hilarious!
