Years ago I wrote a post satirically reviewing an accidental shooting in an elementary school.
Some little kid took a gun to school and it fell out of his back pack, struck the floor and went off.
No one was injured.
Some local reporter interviewed first graders as to their individual reactions.
I made some joke about how the story would develop into a real journalistic inquiry as soon as the reporter made it to the fifth graders.
hahahahahahahah
Then came The Sandy Hook Massacre.

EVERYBODY IN THE NATION WENT NUTS.
There was no satire anymore regarding this subject.
BUT NOTHING CHANGED.
Now we face the repercussions of the recent Parkland (Fl) shootings.
But there is a difference (Please Godalmighty there shall be a difference) with regard to this massacre.
Here is Cenk doing a rather fine job of discussing the Parkland massacre. Check out the first ten or twenty minutes of this rant.
If you recall, there were right wing conspiracy perverts who perverted the tragedy at Sandy Hook.
Here is just one discussion of the reaction of right wing pricks like Alex Jones following the deaths of these children as a result of the Sandy Hook Massacre:
What Cenk is demonstrating, supra, is the difference involved in the reaction to the recent Florida Massacre.
These surviving kids are not six or seven or eight.
Instead they are fifteen and sixteen and seventeen years of age.
AND GODDAMNIT THEY ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!
Cenk is demonstrating that these high schoolers are more than able to communicate their loss, their contempt for their political leaders and their contempt for a media that FORGETS!
Forgets too easily.
Just examine this latest Bing link:
Rubio just looks like a prick.
A PAID PRICK.
Paul Ryan will defend the NRA anytime, really:
I see the difference with this massacre.
THIS TIME THE 'KIDS' are not six years old.
THIS TIME THE KIDS ARE ENTERING ADULTHOOD.
I am always stuck in 1968.
But goddamn it all, these kids in Florida are just about at that age.
So I thought of one song.
AS FAR AS I CAN TELL, THESE SOON TO BE ADULTS ARE SAYING THAT THEY ARE NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE.
Fuck the President!
Fuck paul ryan!
Fuck Gov skeletor!
Fuck the republican party.
WE NEED TO GET RID OF UNIVERSAL ACCESS TO MILITARY WEAPONS IN THIS COUNTRY!
Just listen to these kids:
That is all I got.
Comments
I have one thing to add, Mr. Day.
Those fifteen, sixteen, and seventeen year olds will be of voting age sooner than the politicians realize. And it won't be just the teens in Florida, but in all the states. Generation Snowflake will roar.

SEE ME!
FEEL ME!
TOUCH ME!
These kids are asking to be acknowledged; for they are the victims in this mess.
