I'm still idealistic, and I'm going to do my best to stay that way, but the repubs are really pressing my buttons. (is there a REALLY derogatory word to use for Republicans that isn't actually swearing, but is really, really offensive to them -I guess I should know that, being a registered one, but I never cared what the left called us until now- I want to start using it...loudly and frequently)

I believe in an America where you can have an election that is framed by issues and honest disagreement over ploicy. I'm horrified by the America where a candidate is so afraid of losing that he and many of his supporters are willing to lie, cheat, steal, slander, fabricate, terrify, and a list so long of negative things that would take up a tree's worth of paper to finish...

The article that has even ME "readytoblowagasket"?

The man is void of morals and integrity...Even if you allow that Obama is even half of what this vile man says he is (which I ABSOLUTELY do not) he is 100 times the man John McCain is.

The only good thing I can say about him is that he has my blood boiling, and when my blood boils, I go into action...Thanks, John...you've unleashed me.

1st up...rather than being a registered Republican voting Democratic, I will be changing my party affilliation. 2nd, I will be visiting conservative blogs and announcing what I've done and encouraging others to do the same. 3rd, I've been a little nervous about "coming out" to my conservative friends...I will be making the big announcement today...4th, there will be a bumper sticker on my car, a pin on my rather ample chest, and a lawn sign on my yard by the end of the week. 5. I will be contacting my local Democratic party people to see what I can do locally. More ideas?  Let's go people! For those who aren't already, let's put our actions where our words are...

    Charge!
