    THE VIKINGS

I have almost always lived in Minnesota

I watched my team lose four Superbowls. hahhahahah

So I am viewing this Minnesota v. New Orleans fiasco yesterday.

With 25 seconds left on the clock, NO kicks a field goal to outscore us 24 to 23.

By that time, I go in the kitchen to clean up stuff.

No booze, but I am eating chips and chili given to me by a next door neighbor.

    I GIVE UP!

    WE HAVE LOST AGAIN.

I think of when Favre took over the QB in 2009? and we are playing the Championship game so we might end up in the Superbowl for the fifth time.

    And so I gave up...

    And I discover later...

And this third string QB sends this Hail Mary with ten secs left.

    And...

    WHAT?

I have to admit that I had given up and was surfing on the internet an hour later and Bing tells me....

    THE VIKINGS WON!

And I am thinking that this is a ruse.  Some internet fraud.

So I spend an hour checking out the Youtube and...

    There it is.

Ten secs to go and our third-string QB, for the first time in Play-off history hits a guy named Diggs and Diggs jumps a bunch, catches the ball,  evading a sure tackle and runs for the End Zone.

    HE SCORES!

In my head we had lost, again, BUT THERE IS THE VIDEO?

    And yet...

This walk-off home run, as some pundit put it, had no flag attenuate to the play?

And the crowd in my old home town went nuts; so nuts that subs had to be put on the line for the extra point whilst the QB took a knee.

    Now get this.

The score ended up being 29-24.

Vegas had the Vikes at a 5.5 over the Saints.

The spread? So NO beat the odds?

Some pundit noted that betting brings in (whatever that means)  more moolah than the actual sport brings in?

I have never seen anything like this in Post Season Play?

But conspirators might opine that the thing was rigged?

    NO FUCKING WAY.

Just watch the damn three hour plus competition.

    A fix was just impossible.

    In my humble opinion.

All I can think of is a baseball song for Diggs or our QB?

    Comments

Oh and I gotta add this gem, Bill Burr is doing this blog/internet whatever show he does whilst viewing this game.

Forget obscenity for a moment and watch this at 1:06:00

That game was insane.  Unbelievable.  Happy for Vikes' fans to have one go your way for a change.

    THERE YA GO AD!

So good to see you again.

    Yeah, we won one. ha

And you as well! I like that Skol fight song, too.  Very cool to see Keenum leading the fans on in the cheer against the background of elated fans jamming the end zone seats.  They lose Bridgwater and then Bradford and look where they are.  Freakin' amazing.

    Nobody is reading this! ha

    But DAMN.

    I cannot believe this ending.

If we win on Sunday and become the world's first Home Team in reality at the Superbowl.

    hahahhaahha

    Here is Bill Burr again

    No listen to this.

    Burr is going:

You cannot take this away on 'review'...

But he already knows just like I did on the replay....

    ha.

THIS IS THE BIGGEST MOST .....THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED IN THE HISTORY OF NFL PLAYOFFS.

    REALLY.

    THIS NEVER HAPPENED.

THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A WALK-OFF HOMER IN NFL PLAYOFF HISTORY

    THE END.

    HAHAHAHHA

I JUST GET A KICK OUT OF ME AND OUT OF BURR.

Jack Buck's call of Kirk Gibson's walk-off 1988 World Series home run ("I don't believe what I just saw"):

Here ya go!!  I missed the end, too, and like you thought it was all over ... 'til I walked by a few watering holes in St. Paul and heard the celebrations!  No matter what happens from here on out, Dick, there will always be the "Minnesota Miracle".

    Yeah Missy, you got it.

The Minnesota Miracle all over the frickin web.

    hahahha
