I think Blitzer has been awarded too many pity points in his professional life. I'm sure he's a nice man, but sorely lacking in anything even closely approaching authority or charisma. I don't get it -- but I'm repeating myself.

No, Conan O'Brien's sidekick was way more knowledgable of world affairs -- in fact, just about everything -- than the CNN anchor. If I recall correctly (this was months back), Alex Trebek awarded Blitzer some pity points so he could play the bonus round. What a travesty!

I was going to do another blog on Scarborough's show, but his dad died and...

Willy Geist had been asked by Jughead about his opinion on some issue.

This arsehole looks at Jughead knowing exactly the situation he had found himself in and goes to some idiot on the 'panel' and asks: WHAT DO YOU THINK?

No way was Geist going to take a position on anything because he is a media figure who is seeking his own show down the line on some network and wishes to keep his options open.

Willy or Wily Geist is keeping his options open BECAUSE HE DOES NOT BELIEVE IN ANYTHING but his paycheck.

Now I was reading Joan Walsh, for instance. She is looking for a paycheck for sure, but I read her and I KNOW that she believes in something!
