I have written blogs on this subject. The RCC Bible--American Version--never takes a line from Genesis and confirms the literal claims therein. Never.</p><p>The Jesuits and others involved in Bible study take great pains to discuss the sources of these stories in terms of 4 different oral traditions....</p><p>Metaphor is the message.</p><p>And although reproductive rights as well as a complete ban on abortion bothers me greatly, the HRCC has decided to cease its previous attacks on science.
