I think we need to place at least some of the responsibility for their demise on the Colobus monkeys themselves. After all, there they are, day after day, dicking around (sorry, nothing personal), swinging through the jungle, eating fruit, shitting where they like, and periodically shagging other Colubus's.

The film showed absolutely NO investment had been made in even the most basic security systems for themselves and their family. No spears tied where they might come in handy, no stockade to retreat to, not even a banana peel to throw beneath the feet of the chimps as they charged.

And I think it's clear that this is just a symptom of a wider failure in the character of the Colubus's. Wait wait, I don't want to smear ALL the Colobus's with that charge, so let's just say... all the Colubus's that I'VE SEEN. Amongst those Colubus's, I have seen no work ethic, no investments, no deferral of gratification. Which, as we know, is essential if they are to accumulate the savings necessary for investment in more modern and innovative methods, methods that would let them compete with the chimps.

And seriously Dick, if today's Colubus can't compete against a gang of CHIMPS, then what chance to they have against Monsanto or GE or a major Korean player?

None, Dick. None at all. And I think we're all agreed that the LAST thing we want to see is the taxpayer having to step in to protect these little mooches.

I mean, let's face it, these Colubus's are too lazy to even fucking shave.

Bottomline: Bye-bye Colubus's. Next time, plan ahead. It's a jungle out there.

Mon, 16 May 2011 16:48:14 +0000 quinn esq comment 120390 at http://dagblog.com
