The latest line of ASICS rocks! The shoes I used to wear (Brooks' Adrenaline) were changed the last time I bought a pair (unfortuantely I bought two pairs because I'm running a marathon on Thanksgiving Day, and I didn't want to have to change shoes too close to race day), and the change was most definitely for the worse. By the time I had about 100 miles on the shoes I started noticing knee pain, which for me is very unusual because I'm reasonably good about my stretching regimen. I tried buying insoles for added support, but after a few more long runs I was experiencing knee and hip pain. On the advice of my running coach, I switched to ASICS, and the knee pain went away almost instantly.

So, to summarize, Palin's right. I suppose even a broken clock…

Wed, 18 Nov 2009 14:27:13 +0000 Nebton comment 9601 at http://dagblog.com
