The country is showing support for unions. The country wants out of the Middle East wars. The country believes that higher taxes on the upper 1% makes sense. The country has NOT been lost. A very Republican region in Western New York voted against the Republican because of the GOP candidate's stance on Medicare. The public is on the right track.

Trying to get Republican politicians to back down from their support of major corporations and the upper 1% is futile. Therefore, the Democrats become the default option. The newly minted Congresswoman from New York openly stated that tax hikes were on the table, Republicans still voted for her.

Congress is now making grumbling noises about getting out of the Middle East wars. You are winning the battle. Now is the time to be optimistic.
