I'm an oldtime radio fan. Have been since I was a kid. The first (unproduced) play I ever wrote was based on the life of Fred Allen.

I remember listening to Fibber McGee and Molly on Monitor. (One of my great thrills was working as a Radio Director for about six months in the same studio where Monitor had orginated.)

Boortz was basically calling his listeners to go out and form modern lynch mobs to kill black people in Atlanta. That's what he was doing. As one of the commenters on LGF said, remember the good old days when Howard Stern would be fined for talking about lesbians?
