I note he wrote a prescient piece for Harpers in 2006, well before the real estate crash, called The New Road to Serfdom, which pretty well laid out the coming crash pdf at <a href="http://www.insurgentamerican.net/download/MichaelHudson/Hudson_RoadToSerfdom.pdf">link</a>. He makes frightening good sense for not voting in 2012, and hoping obama loses, to empower what is left of the Democratic Party.</p> </div></div></div> Wed, 20 Jul 2011 15:02:28 +0000 NCD comment 128637 at http://dagblog.com "I believe in whatever http://dagblog.com/comment/128612#comment-128612 <a id="comment-128612"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/comment/128602#comment-128602">How does that go again ?</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>"I believe in whatever doesn't kill you, makes you....stranger."</p> <p><img alt="" src="http://gnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/heath-ledgers-joker-wins-oscar-3.jpg" style="width: 370px; height: 247px;" /></p> <p> </p> <div class="media_embed" height="349px" width="425px"> <iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="349px" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/K3CHi_9sxj0" width="425px"></iframe></div> <p> </p> </div></div></div> Wed, 20 Jul 2011 06:59:59 +0000 Elusive Trope comment 128612 at http://dagblog.com I didn't finish reading it. http://dagblog.com/comment/128606#comment-128606 <a id="comment-128606"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/reader-blogs/how-obama-and-his-friends-are-selling-everyone-down-river-interview-michael-hudson-1112">How Obama and His Friends Are Selling Everyone Down the River - An Interview With Michael Hudson</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>I didn't finish reading it.  Just too depressing.</p> </div></div></div> Wed, 20 Jul 2011 05:05:43 +0000 trkingmomoe comment 128606 at http://dagblog.com How does that go again ? http://dagblog.com/comment/128602#comment-128602 <a id="comment-128602"></a> <p><em>In reply to <a href="http://dagblog.com/comment/128598#comment-128598">no pain no gain?</a></em></p> <div class="field field-name-comment-body field-type-text-long field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>How does that go again ? Wages, income, prices, stocks...the whole shebang. But that is very, very risky and could wind up as a major depression with lots of people out of work and lots of discontent.</p> </div></div></div> Wed, 20 Jul 2011 03:16:53 +0000 cmaukonen comment 128596 at http://dagblog.com
