I never thought of the animal as a newborn, but now that I look at it again I can see that it might be. I wonder why nobody else thought of that. Hmmm.

I do love purple prose. Sometimes it's bad and sometimes it's awful, but sometimes it's so awfully bad it's wonderful. (But not often.)

Ramona, I thought your drone sentence was pretty good (in a bad way), or is it the other way around?

But I agree; that purple prose sentence made me laugh out loud! I like it better than the winner.

That animal looks like it just got rid of its umbilical cord; maybe it is an unfinished but pre-born fetal something-or-other. Anyway, they should test its DNA.
