And I think the Navy believes it has more than enough carriers than they need at the moment. I do find it odd to hear a tea-bagger opining the need to generate jobs using government orders for costly military hardware. I was under the impression they believed the economy was best left in the hands of business who have the means and ability to generate products to satisfy consumer demand by purchasing the raw materials, equipment and people to necessary produce those products?
