A skunk walks into a bar and orders a bourbon on the rocks. The bar tender sets the drink down in front of him and says, "You know...we don't get many skunks in here."

The skunk takes a drink of the bourbon and says "Oh Really !" and points out 5 Wall Street bankers.

Wonderful DD! Funny, but I often see your postings as possible templates for Democratic election ads. This one starts out with an ominous voice-over, talking about failed Republican policies and core GOP ideas which brought this nation to its knees. Every policy mentioned is followed by the question, "How do we get out of this mess?", followed by the answer, "Don't do that anymore!!"

The Republicans just put 'job destroying' in front of anything their 'have more' base wants and then blather it into the MSM media echo chamber. These people have no idea how to create jobs, assess reality, and are beyond a doubt incapable of leading the nation into anything but disaster and decline. Witness Cheney spouting off that the Iraq war was a flaming success.

I thought for a moment you were trying to develop an image of Cantor licking his own gennytrotters. If so, that's a really off-base idea and not worthy of a liberal like you. Can't you see he's licking his corporate sponsors' gennytrotters? By the way, are those something like the bully sticks I buy for my dog to chew on?

Cantor's got nothing. He blew his big "schtick" with the debt ceiling hostage taking. Not only did he downgrade the Republican party, the so called "tea party" and himself, he exposed the raw "corporate" agenda of the Republican party. Now he's in the position of looking at a two year term in which nothing positive was accomplished in terms of a national strategy to rebuild our society.
