The repubs offer NOTHING.

My only disagreement with this conclusion by both 'debaters' is that the repubs do not offer nothing, they offer a negative net for the middle class.

Shultz is cheering our President for offering something.

ratigan says: Well then the repubs offer nothing and the Prez is offering 1.5 million jobs.

We do not need 1.5 million jobs, we need 40 million jobs.

Dylan Ratigan is correct. Ed is correct.

I do not have an answer at all.

The repubs would erase millions of jobs and cut the salaries of those who do have job s.

So I know who the enemy is.

'We think of America as a place where every generation is doing better, but we're looking at a period when the median family is in worse shape than it was in the late 1990s.''

What makes this statistic especially cruel is that although median income has dropped, mean income has risen. You would think this fact would end the myth of "trickle down" once and for all.
