He forgot to add to the bad side that he is private property rights supporter - so forget about any regulations and protection for the environment or to manage growth and resource development. Does it really matter one has stopped a war if everyone is poisoned.

I just finished Greenwald's rather long take on this.

The good side:

Cut defense by 80%, stop these god-awful continuous warring, stop using tax payer dollars to buttress huge corporations, stop socialism for the rich...

The bad side:

Tear down each and every program begun with the New Deal, the Fair Deal and the War on Poverty, go back to some gold standard...

It would be fun, I mean really fun to watch Paul get the nomination. I mean the banks and the hedge funds and the big corporations would be screaming bloody murder!

While I agree with much of the premise, I hate the whole right/left dichotomy and it really fails to do justice to Ron Paul's record.
