I hate cliches but damn, I thought Ronny Reagan was a joke and he single handedly destroyed the American middle class with the help of rummy and cheney.

My mother followed Newt in his c-span days. She had discovered it was more interesting than info-commercials during sleepless night. She would call and tell me about his ugly rants and said his name was Grinch. She couldn't figure out why no one would get up afterwards and respond to this nut job. He was regular wee hour entertainment for her. The night the camera scanned the empty chambers, she called me and woke me to tell me that all this time he was only raving to the camera. This was upsetting to her because she thought he was in front of Congress. Most likely, other vewers thought the same thing and found out it was staged. She died a couple of years before he was forced out of Congress and didn't get to enjoy his down fall. I wonder now what she would think about his latest run for president because she considered him very dangerous since people was willing to vote for him. Thanks DD for a look back at his career.

I think Blitzer and King, et. al., are on Newt's payroll. The last time Newt got a surge, before Romney trashed him in Iowa, was at the last CNN debate where all the Neocons were in attendance and gave Newt a similar performance platform.

On a bad day Gingrich could destroy America in one strange election but of course the odds would be that the Morman could.

On the other hand, if Obama 'lost' a debate with THE NEWT, well....that would destroy any hope I have for humanity, that is for sure. hahahahahah
