Great attitude and great work. Look me up in St. Louis. I used to live iin Springfield until 2 years ago. After 35 years there, it became very depressing to hear the same conservative crap everywhere I went. Maybe things are different now that the country's gone to hell in a handbasket even for a lot of the hardcore GOPers. SW Missouri has always been a drag on Democratic hopes in the state. With times ripe for change and your commitment, not this year.

Sun, 12 Oct 2008 20:38:40 +0000 Ripper comment 315 at http://dagblog.com It's awesome what you are http://dagblog.com/comment/267#comment-267
In reply to My Month Long Contribution

It's awesome what you are doing. I volunteered like crazy in the primary. I'm still doing what I can, but unfortunately due to life, it's more like a couple times a week instead of daily right now. Still, I know that rush of talking to somebody who isn't voting for Obama when the conversation starts, but is when it's over. I had the same experience while making calls and it really does reinforce the message that voter contact is what makes the difference. So that you for what you're doing. Missouri is looking like a possibility where only a few weeks ago, it looked like a lost cause. Si, se puede! :)

Sat, 11 Oct 2008 20:21:18 +0000 Orlando comment 267 at http://dagblog.com Glad to be of service, on http://dagblog.com/comment/246#comment-246
In reply to Hey Chrono. Fortunately, I've met many, many nice Democrats. Though the description may be accurate, I have to say, it's uplifting, because I find so many people that truly want change. The best thing that happens out campaigning? When I find a hardcore Democrat and/or Obama supporter among the swath of Republicans. And really, it always seems to be increasing. More and more people are going from undecided to DECIDED, and I think that more often than not, they're moving in Obama's column.

Fri, 10 Oct 2008 02:47:37 +0000 ChronoSpark comment 240 at http://dagblog.com you're doing great work. http://dagblog.com/comment/238#comment-238
In reply to My Month Long Contribution

you're doing great work. congrats... as a st. louis native, i wish i could say your description of my hometown state was overdstated and outdated, but alas, i cannot ...

Thu, 09 Oct 2008 19:12:32 +0000 Deadman comment 238 at http://dagblog.com
