You have to maintain a charge on them for a time or they will go dead. And the battgeries in use today cannot be fully discharged without damaging them. </p> <p>You can leave them with nothing attached for a longer period of time but leaving attached will drain them because "Off" is not the same as being removed from the circuit.  If remaining in circuit, the circuit will continue to draw current even when the item is not being used.</p> <p>This goes for EVs and cell phones and laptops and MP3 devices and radios......</p> </div></div></div> Thu, 23 Feb 2012 18:18:33 +0000 cmaukonen comment 150210 at http://dagblog.com
