It's unfortunate, and a little strange.</p> <p>But as much as Obama-hatred might be fueling this, I think there is a genuine suspicion of new technology, and lots of conservatives simply have a visceral dislike of change.</p> <p>I'm thinking about how many conservatives seem deeply upset by the shift to newer forms of light bulb.
