After Santorum's announcement, many were commenting that he made no mention of Romney, much less supporting him - evidently according to his campaign manager, when asked, he wouldn't say if Santorum will support Romney. Then, it was reported that Santorum had been counting on Gingrich releasing his delegates to Santorum, but didn't happen. Maybe Santorum will now release his delegates to Newt? Hmmm. Interesting concept.

I am sorry that Santorum has dropped out as, like no other Republican, he proudly exemplified the intolerance and hatred that lies at the heart of the Republican party in a way that was clear for everyone to see. Now with a clear run in sight, Mitt-a-sketch will again pivot his positions like a windmill to create a seemingly reasonable face for the Republican Party. Thanks Rick for showing us what you really are and what your party really stands for.

Its disappointing to find such a large slice of people who don't want to improve themselves, who don't want to cooperate with others no matter what...that unless you are exactly like them, you are an outsider and worthy of verbal and physical abuse.
And instead of appealing to the better angels of those people, Santorum attempted to appeal to their darker halves.

The lowest moment was when it became apparent that not hundreds, not thousands, but millions would actually vote for this man for President. And that moment out lives his campaign.
