So we have a Supreme Court justice in Scalia who appears to want to be an elected politician, and an elected official in Bachmann who appears to believe she is qualified to be a Supreme Court justice, or at least offer credible views on what the Constitution says.

Sounds like you are buying into a conspiracy theory. Hmm.

That means there must be some other explanation but I have seen it too in different places and thought the same thing. Just to be contrary [with myself too] I suggest that on most topics there are only a few sensible ways to think about them. If Maddow and her team were to come up with a story line on her own it would almost surely be one that one of the multitude of bloggers had also come up with.

I swear her staff really does that, I've seen too many instances of her saying stuff I just read on a blog discussion. (My laptop set-up faces a TV and I often have the tube on in the background; not a big Rachel fan but it's often ends up on in the background after I watch Hardball.)
