The leaves have chang-ed

Once green, they are all so red

Ice shall freeze the dead

Winds shall blow and mend

What spring hath brought us anon

Birds escape the death

I ignore the trends

I pretend that spring never ends

The path shall prove all

Caught in elections

Our inner predictions tell

Winter shall win all

I was very cold

I became warm but so old

Seasons change my self

I am cold once more

Winter wins every time

Forget not the past

We pretend the past

And that will never come back

But echoes rebound

The seasons will change

No matter what I might deign

The cycle is fixed

I shall surely die

But I will never know why

The end is just nigh

Counting my verses

Is extremely hard to do

But, so is our life
