Apparently this company was allowed to sell these products to federal agencies only but now that is changingn and American manufacturers and their employees will not have to compete for their business and jobs with slave labor in the U.S..

How can this be happening?

Tue, 02 Oct 2012 19:11:56 +0000 synchronicity comment 165896 at http://dagblog.com This isn't about Obama. It's true Obama looks a lot like Davis when posed the same way as they're both by no coincidence black - though different lips, chins.... Though to be fair, maybe headshape closer fit than Barack Sr? (Barack has his grandfather's ears for sure, and also similar headshape, though I think his father is proven not black, but anything goes these days). They also managed to assume Davis slept with Ann Dunham at 13 because he said he slept with a 13-year-old named Ann, even though that was with his first wife 20-30 years before, and Ann didn't show up in Hawaii until 17. It's all pretty bizarrely comical, and there's a good deal of dissonance among those who can't give up the bigamist Kenyan Marxist to have the black pervert poet Marxist. So they scream Obama's not eligible to be president (misreading the Constitution and going on the Kenyan father) while showing how he's a member of Spartanist Youth League and a tool of the Kremlin based on the other candidate, while somehow fitting CIA granddad into the destroyer of worlds category as well.

[wrote this up but didn't post for a few hours - Erica filled in details meantime]

Mon, 01 Oct 2012 20:17:59 +0000 PeraclesPlease comment 165833 at http://dagblog.com I love conspiracy stuff--and http://dagblog.com/comment/165832#comment-165832
In reply to After all that, I can still be shocked. That's shocking

I love conspiracy stuff--and have wasted most of a perfectly good day checking this one out. I probably would have spent my time better by researching who REALLY funded the anti-muslim documentary, which goes to show you how pathetic this story is.

Here are my findings. (Cue mysterious music.)

It is highly unlikely that the woman in the photos is Ann Dunham. Not impossible, because the whole point of conspiracy theories is that there's ALWAYS A CHANCE!!!!!!!!! But let's be honest here--the young Ann Dunham was a fresh-looking person, and in many ways all young people are lovely. But by model standards, Obama's mom had a face like a torn combat boot, eyes that sloped downward, and a jaw longer than a drive to the southern border of Mexico. On top of that, I have yet to see a photo in which she looked comfortable or natural.

The woman in the photos is...pretty. In addition, she looks comfortable having her picture taken, not only in the nude but in exotic gear. Not many people can both look and be that comfortable in front of a camera. It's one of the reasons that not many people are models. It's one of the reasons that Norma Jean Baker's fate was sealed the moment she first stepped in front of a lens. Models look like models--even the ones who never get famous--they just look better and more natural in front of a camera than the rest of us do.

Now, it's POSSIBLE that Dunham had the world's greatest makeup artist for this shoot, and that what's-his-face was such a fantastic photographer that he captured Dunham's single moment of inner vixenhood, a quality that vanished after the film shoot and never appeared again. But if he were that good, he'd have been working more. And so, probably, would she.

It seems mean to exonerate Dunham here based on the idea that she didn't really have model ju-ju, but there it is. Obama inherited her face shape and eye-slope, and it looks better on him than it did on her.

It appears that the model in the photos may have been a woman named Marcy Moore.

What I'm interested in here is who is paying to send copies of this movie around the country. I didn't see a producer listed, so I'm assuming it's self-produced or the producer did not wish to be named. (And it wouldn't have cost much to make so it's very possible that Gilbert just threw it together over a few weeks with an editor and a few voice actors.) MVD, the distribution company? Would they underwrite the costs? I'm pretty sure Joel Gilbert has made pretty good money from his previous rather wacky film efforts and could have done this himself, but this one seems like a bigger fish to fry, especially since there's a reasonable chance that he's about to have his ass sued.

Curious.

Mon, 01 Oct 2012 19:33:30 +0000 erica20 comment 165832 at http://dagblog.com You know what line this all http://dagblog.com/comment/165830#comment-165830
In reply to After all that, I can still be shocked.
