What I want to know is why is this guy running unopposed? Is he running in a district full of people who believe this stuff? I know it's Georgia but come on--nobody else thought they could win over this guy?

If God wanted to give us information, he would not put it in a old dated book. The true information on the earth and life is there for those with the curiosity and honesty to find it.

They count tree rings back further than 9000 years, the evidence for the extreme age of the earth is everywhere you look, for anyone to see but the willfully blind and ignorant. Republicans also don't believe in government, but they want to run it, just as goons like this guy want to rule over not just science and reality, but every aspect of your life and what you are allowed to think.

Embryology? That literalist Christians would dispute this is news to me! The only thing I can think of is that because "ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny", and since phylogeny is from evolutionary theory, they feel they must also deny (the very observable) ontogeny. (Human embryos have gills? Unpossible!) Wow! The depths these people will go to!
