With Tina Brown at the helm (and with the news that they're suspending print publication in December) I'm not surprised at anything (Well, maybe this cover.) Tina is a publicity glutton and she's never been accused of good taste. She's proud of that.

Whatever Newsweek once was, it is not now and never will be again. Sad.

He doesn't have to be anti- or pro- anything for the sentiment expressed on the front cover of one of best known 'liberal' MSM to be used by others. RedState and Breitbart have both commented on it.

One thing noted here in Georgia was a decline in registered white voters and not as a percentage of total voters but as a percent of their own total population. IOW, some white voters abstained from voting for any of the above on the ballot. An appealing candidate or a serious GOTV effort could possibly changed that. Personally, I would prefer that neither of those do so by playing any race or ethnic card.

My hope that a successful Obama presidency would move us past national racial politics is gone. The anti-Obama aspects of this election among die-hard racists was expected. The discovery of its flip side in all this anti-white triumphalism was not, at least by me. It disgusts me.

I found it on RedState and Breitbart. They will use it. They are also discussing the GOTV problems they had with ORCA and even one is advocating emulating Obama's ground game.

The little round dot says David Frum is the author of that piece. As the wikipedia entry notes, he's anti-Tea-Party, but certainly not anti-Republican or pro-Democrat.
