(Houseful of fine family members, everybody smiling--so far.) But I couldn't have outdone you, Dick, so thanks for this. When it comes to Thanksgiving dinner, we're traditionalists: Big turkey (no brine, no fancy stuff) giblet stuffing, mashed potatoes, mashed turnips and rutabagas, squash casserole, cranberries, ambrosia salad, rolls, pies and a bunch of other stuff. It's smelling really good in the house already. By the time the turkey is done we'll be ravenous and not especially polite so after a few seconds it won't look at all like Norman Rockwell's Thanksgiving picture. Have a wonderful day, everybody. Yes, I'm feeling guilty for the abundance of goodness on this day. I want this for everybody, dammit. </div></div></div> Thu, 22 Nov 2012 17:10:09 +0000 Ramona comment 170759 at http://dagblog.com I have never read this!
