It is normal for Florida to get weak lows from the tropics late October and early November. I think the State house was counting on that to happen again so people would not be able to stand out side for long periods of time. Super storm Sandy spun all the energy off and we had nice weather. There might be some pressure coming from the DOJ because some of the state falls under the voter rights act. Charley Crist has made it an issue he will run on and poling is showing already that he has double digit lead. Scott is trying to get ahead of that attack.

Mon, 21 Jan 2013 09:27:22 +0000 trkingmomoe comment 173702 at http://dagblog.com I am awed by Florida http://dagblog.com/comment/173662#comment-173662
In reply to His numbers are still in the

I am awed by Florida voters.

For the most part, as far as I can tell, the voters just kept on keepin on!

Obama won a state I would have predicted going the other way.

I saw some of those videos Momo and people took CHAIRS WITH THEM!

Amazing.

It brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it!

The thing that gets to me is that maybe, just maybe when politicians go to far, they begin to see some writing on the wall!

Anyway, quite a drama down there and It actually makes me believe in democracy.

Sun, 20 Jan 2013 07:40:57 +0000 Richard Day comment 173662 at http://dagblog.com His numbers are still in the http://dagblog.com/comment/173659#comment-173659
In reply to Fla Governor wishes to 're-enfranchise'?

His numbers are still in the dumpster. He knows South Florida voters plan to stake him to a fire ant hill in 2014. He sees the buzzards circling over head. If you had to stand in one of those lines, you would certainly be back in 2014 to vote out the ring leader who made you stand there. People took it personal, and stood there anyways with the attitude that Tallahassee could kiss their ass. I don't think Scott understands he can't put a band aid on this boo boo. He will not get another term and civil rights people plan to make that a reality. There is a realization with democrats here in Florida that they have to get out the vote in the next midterm to keep things from getting worse. I am getting emails from OFA and Democratic house members here in Florida regularly.

Sun, 20 Jan 2013 06:06:59 +0000 trkingmomoe comment 173659 at http://dagblog.com
