However, all modern "health care" is about money - these crooks will make you sick physically and mentally in order for you to need more of their care and thus give them more money.

Your daughter will need chemotherapy for the affects of medication that gave her cancer, people who have survived shootings or had their family shot in these drug fueled massacres will need physical and psychiatric care and the folks at Pfizer will be laughing their way to the bank, making sure not to slip on all the blood on their way through the door.

Profits over people. It's really that simple.

Thu, 31 Jan 2013 19:11:21 +0000 Orion comment 174257 at http://dagblog.com When people listen and talk http://dagblog.com/comment/174256#comment-174256
In reply to When doctors and researchers,

When people listen and talk honestly in any situation, lives are saved. And that percentage is growing. They include some of the world’s best-selling drugs, like the rheumatoid arthritis and psoriasis drugs Humira and Enbrel and the cancer treatments Herceptin, Avastin and Rituxan. The drugs now cost patients — or their insurers — tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars a year [,,,,,]

Like just one quarter of $320 billion would be nice to spend on starting improving psychiatric care, eh? But our gummints can't afford that, they need to insure that drug developers make not just fortunes but continuing huge fortunes for an exceedingly long time.....

Tue, 29 Jan 2013 23:14:39 +0000 artappraiser comment 174193 at http://dagblog.com When doctors and researchers, http://dagblog.com/comment/174199#comment-174199
In reply to Researchers: Online commenters impair readers’ scientific literacy

When doctors and researchers, listen to the people affected, lives are saved

Bayer

is alleged to have suppressed clinical evidence it acquired relating to Baycol's side effects while it continued to market the medication.

Baycol Litigation and Lawsuits

"….
