Sometimes I do voiceover work which is really fun.

Using the US flag was my big concern--like you, I wondered if there might be resentment. But then, I thought it would be much more difficult to achieve freedom to marry in the 12 states that now recognize same-sex marriage, and here we all are!

(I'm very happy because my niece can get married to her girlfriend--although I have noticed that now that it's possible, they are being a little cagey about the actual date! It's ok because they're pretty young, they have plenty of time. :^)

Sat, 18 May 2013 15:47:07 +0000 erica20 comment 178047 at http://dagblog.com Is that pleasant voice yours? http://dagblog.com/comment/178030#comment-178030
In reply to Let Freedom Ring: Freedom to Marry in all 50 States

Is that pleasant voice yours? I had other thoughts but I need to think it through some more. I do worry about the backlash of using a revered symbol, as is the American Flag. "Is their nothing sacred", some might ask...... Read the current "In The News" "Georgian gay rights activists attacked by mob" ........Imagine a raucous "Knights of Columbus" group and knowing the way they feel about the flag and history has shown they can become quite agitated. I believe it wiser, to leave their IDOL, out of your plans. May I recommend One big Star on a blue background and upon closer examination the BIG star is made up of 50 smaller stars It's not an American flag but those in the know, would recognize the meaning. There has never been to my knowledge, a one star American flag. One star, one planet, one nation, one people ...."with liberty and justice for all"

Sat, 18 May 2013 00:54:00 +0000 Resistance comment 178030 at http://dagblog.com
