GOP calls the shots when you have the majority and the Oval office.</p> <p>Reid just said a few days ago he would call up all 7 executive appointees today for up or down votes, and if he didn't get it he would use the 'nuclear option'. Wouldn't want to make Republicans angry, so he caved.</p> <p><em>Senate allowed a vote on the nomination of Mr. Cordray, but put aside two nominees for the National Labor Relations Board who the president appointed during a Senate recess, Richard Griffin and Sharon Block.
