Remember that the networks have 20 times more viewers in the evening news slot all together then Fox news. I don't think rap music was mentioned as a problem during their reporting. LOL. You are right they are a mess.

I am sure it is not going unnoticed.

It does say volumes about the GOP.

I was 15 years old getting ready for the new school year by sewing some clothes for school. I was going into the 10th grade and also Aug. 28th was my mother's birthday. I had the sewing machine pulled out so I could see the TV while I sewed. I remember the march on DC because Walter C. covered it on TV. Some of it was shown as news breaks. It was such a amazing thing to see that huge crowd there and how well they all behaved. We had birthday cake during the evening news that continued and extra hour to cover all the speeches. I wrote about it in a diary that I still have. These events had a big impression on me and helped form my political makeup. This was new to my parents to have such news coverage to come into the home in real time and played a major role in ending Jim Crow in the south. Social media and the internet is now in the role of putting the end to the backlash to civil rights.
